Steelsafe's Safety Statement to You

Scientific concerns about plastics are growing all the time.  As a consequence of consumer concerns, materials such as BPA and phthalates are being removed from drinkware products in many countries world-wide.  Unfortunately, governments and legistaltive bodies are slow to remove these most dangerous materials - BPA is still not illegal under European law.  Many other plastics are under review and it is likely that these investigations will identify more suspect materials.

What is Steelsafe doing?  Steelsafe's 5 point "Safety Statement" to you as a consumer is to:

1.  The product has been designed to that stainless steel is the primary material which comes into contact with the liquid;
2.. The stainless steel used is the highest grade 18/8 material used in the manufacture of surgical instruments;
3.  Only use plastic components where stainless steel alternatives are not practical;
4.  Eliminate not only currently banned materials but also all other suspect plastics; and
5.  Constantly review sceintific findings on plastics and be at the forefront of plastic safety.
